NFC technology considerably simplifies access control and offers a flexible, cost-efficient solution. NFC technology in almost all applications always stays the same, allowing information to be transmitted safely and securely at a short distance.
In most applications, NFC technology implements one card or fob and one reader. The card/fob is programmed with the tag data, which carries the identifying information that will enable a linked access panel to authorise or deny access to the building. However, NFC technology has much more to offer, going beyond simple authentication.
NFC devices can also record the access information, exact access time, how long the access has been granted and many other security metrics and data. WHERE DO I ADD MY LOGO/DESIGN?
Once purchased, check your emails for a design brief from one of our designers. Here our designer will take your brief and create your design. You will then approve the design prior going to print for overall satisfaction.
HOW DO I ADD MY DETAILS?
Once purchased you will receive an email with an invitation to create a profile. Here is where you can add all of your contact details & social media handles etc.
WHAT PHONES ARE COMPATIBLE?
All Androids and all newer aged iPhones are compatible with our DanTs tap feature. For older i-phones, we recommend using the QR code feature.
IS THERE A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE?
There is no subscription fee to use our cards after your initial purchase. And based on one card and 2 profiles per card. However we do have a pro version for larger corporations.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
The DanTs Smart cards has a NFC chip inside that wirelessly sends your information. If you tap the card on compatible phones, a link will open up with your contact information etc. Ready to be saved to the phone. For older phones that don't have NFC, there is a QR code on the back of the card.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY DETAILS?
You can change your details in real time in a matter of seconds within your online profile. Did you know you can also switch between profiles if you have more than one business?
CAN I GET A CUSTOM-DESIGNED CARD FOR MY COMPANY?
Yes, you can! Just purchase one of our custom-designed cards and choose your design.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY DANTS SMART CARD?
The possibilities are virtually endless as this technology has many case studies for its use. However, we find that the most common are contact details, social media handles, websites & product information. Although anything with a digital presence can be transferred.
DO SMARTPHONES NEED AN APP TO USE THIS TECHNOLOGY?
No, it's as simple as tap and go. As this technology is similar to Apple and Android Pay, 9/10 phones are now compatible with all of DanTs’ features.
IS DANTS SMART SECURE?
DanTs Smart is as secure as any new-age technology and as safe as the information you put on it. It only works within an inch of a compatible device, and can only share, rather than extract information. In addition, there is no financial information stored. All details shared are typically details you will have on any of your traditional business cards.
